      PERSONAL DATA PROTECTION

      1. Processing of personal data

      We inform you that the personal data and information you provide when filling in any electronic form available in Contact Us or Career ('Data'), will be included in a personal data file owned by BDO. The purpose of the processing of the Data is to process your request. The questions included in each of the forms are voluntary, except those marked with an asterisk (*) which are mandatory. If you do not answer the mandatory questions, BDO reserves the right not to process incomplete applications.

      2. Communications of data to third parties

      In order to satisfy your request, or request for information, it may be necessary for your Data to be communicated by BDO to the other companies that make up the BDO Group. 

      The companies of the BDO Group are engaged in the provision of the following services: Auditing and information security, specialized advice, legal and tax advice, corporate finance and outsourcing. 

      The companies of the BDO Group are located in Chile.

      3. Commercial communications.

      In some of the electronic forms you will be asked for your express consent to send you commercial communications by any means, including e-mail or equivalent means of electronic communication.

      4. Security measures

      BDO adopts the security levels required and appropriate to the nature of the data being processed at all times. Notwithstanding the foregoing, technical security in a medium such as the Internet is not impregnable and there may be malicious actions of third parties, although BDO puts all the means at its disposal to prevent such actions.

      5. Cookie Usage Policy

      A "cookie" is a small data file that can be placed on your computer's hard drive or on a web server. These cookies do not retrieve the information stored on your hard drive and do not cause damage to your computer or the files stored on it. You are not required to accept cookies, and in fact, you can modify your browser to refuse cookies.

      We use cookies to enable our website to recognize your preferred language, which is selected from a previous visit to our site. We also track the browsing patterns of our users through our website in order to evaluate and improve the site. We use this information to compile statistical data about the use of our website, but such information is used in an anonymous, aggregated form and you cannot be identified from it.

      When you visit our web site, our server logs your IP address along with the date, time and duration of your visit. An IP address is an assigned number, similar to a telephone number, that allows your computer to communicate over the Internet. We analyze this data for statistical trends, and then discard it.

      BDO will only use data storage and retrieval devices ('Cookies') when the user has given consent.
