PROTECTION OF PERSONAL INFORMATION

1. Treatment of personal information

We hereby inform that the personal data and information you provide to us when completing any electronic form available in Contact Us or Careers ('Data'), will be incorporated in a file of personal data owned by BDO. The purpose of the data treatment is to process your request. The questions included in each of the forms are voluntary, except those marked with an asterisk (*), which are mandatory. In case of not answering the mandatory questions, BDO reserves the right of not processing incomplete applications.

2. Communicating information to third parties

In order to meet your request, or information request, it may be necessary for your data to be communicated by BDO to the other companies comprising the Group BDO.

The Group BDO’s companies are dedicated to the provision of the following services: Audit and Information Security, specialized advisory, tax & legal advisory, corporate finance and outsourcing. The Group BDO’s companies are located in Chile

In any of the electronic forms, your express consent will be requested in order to send commercial communications by any means, including electronic mail or equivalent electronic media.

BDO adopts the required security levels and appropriate to the nature of the data being processed at each time. Notwithstanding the foregoing, the technical security in a media such as Internet is not impregnable and there may be fraudulent proceedings from third parties, even though BDO puts all the means at its disposal to prevent such actions.

5. Policy for the use of Cookies

A "cookie" is a small data file that can be placed on the hard drive of your computer or on a web server. These cookies do not retrieve information stored on your hard drive and do not cause damage to your computer or files stored therein. You are not required to accept cookies, and in fact, you can modify your browser for it to not accept them.

When you visit our website, our server registers your IP address along with the date, time and duration of your visit. An IP address is an assigned number, similar to a phone number, which allows your computer to communicate through Internet. We analyze these data for statistical trending, and then we discard them.

BDO will only use storage devices and data retrieval ('Cookies') when the user grants his/her consent.
