Our Real Estate team led by the Lead Advisory and Corporate Finance and Transactions partner; Emilio Venegas, the Corporate Finance and Transactions Manager; Catalina Chávez, and the Senior Analyst; Carolina Ciucani at BDO Chile has prepared a new edition of the Discount Rates Report, corresponding to the last quarter of 2022, that is, Q4/2022.
During the analysis period corresponding to the fourth quarter of 2022, an average reduction of 65 basis points is observed in the discount rates of the Real Estate sub-industries analyzed in relation to the previous quarter. The main cause of the decreases in Real Estate discount rates is due to the improvement in the free rate of 91 basis points in relation to the previous quarter as a result of the better economic outlook, which had a positive impact on all sub-industries.
